I have tried many mediums but have found a home in my expression with
pastels. Their tactile quality and
brilliant colors make pastels a joy to work with. Pastels are perfect for creating sensitive
interpretations of the California landscape.
I divide my time between plein air painting and studio work. I love the challenge of trying to express the beauty God has created
in nature.
It
is my intent to take the viewer out of their hectic lives, if just for a moment,
to a more calm and peaceful place. I
consider it a great privilege to have my artwork in many personal and corporate
collections.
