I often work spontaneously, without preconceived ideas, my brush or ink strokes are quickly put upon the canvas in which I see possibilities to pursue. Frequently "controlled accidents" turn my paintings into my better works.  Working with epoxies further slows me latitude, since the medium, being fluid, moves on a horizontal surface, moving and blending to produce interesting coloration.
