Ventura Aquatic Center Rules
Ventura Aquatic Center Facility Use Rules:
- POOL FACILITY OCCUPANCY LIMITED TO 400.
- Everyone entering the facility must pay facility admission fee.
- In order to ride waterslides you must be 42" tall.
- Children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible person 18 years of age or older.
- Proper swim attire is required for pool use. No street clothes or cut offs. Swim diapers are required for children not potty trained.
- Only Coast Guard approved life jackets are permitted for use during recreational swim times.
- No loitering in the locker rooms, pool area, or lobby.
- A shower is encouraged prior to entering the pool.
- Ventura Aquatic Center is not responsible for personal belongings. Lockers are for day use only.
- All food and drink must remain inside picnic areas. No glass containers allowed.
The following are prohibited when using the facility:
Possession of weapons, use of alcohol, narcotics or smoking, persons under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, animals, glass bottles, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades and/or loud radios.
Ventura Aquatic Center Facility Pool Rules:
- Active in-water supervision, within arms reach, is required for all non-swimmers.
- No diving in the recreation pool or water playground pool.
- No excessive breath holding or hypoxic training.
- All persons having open wounds, diarrhea, vomiting, or any other condition that has the appearance of being infectious shall be refused admittance to the pools.
- All patrons are encouraged to take a shower before entering the pool.

- Children or anyone who does not demonstrate the ability to swim safely in the deep end must pass a deep-water swim test before entering the competition pool.
- Only Coast Guard approved life jackets are permitted for use during recreational swim times.
- No running, pushing, roughhousing or hanging on the backs of other swimmers.
- The use of fins, snorkels and toys are prohibited during recreational swim times.
