How to Use a "Zoomify" Map:
Zoomify Map Sizes: Along the bottom of the page are ten preset map size options to help maximize the amount of map visible on your screen.   On the left are screen options designed to fit the map to any of four standard screen resolutions.   By default, the map is set to screen option number 2 (800 x 600 pixels).   To choose another setting, simply click on one of these ten options.   There are also six print options designed to fit on one of three standard paper sizes using either of two page orientations.   Page sizes are: 1=Letter (8.5x11), 2=Legal (8.5x14), and 3=Tabloid (11x17).   Page orientations are: L=Landscape and P=Portrait.
Zoomify Toolbar Functions:
At the bottom of the map there is a toolbar similar to the one shown here.   It can sometimes be hard to see because of a busy map in the background.   To the right of the toolbar we have made a list of the various functions that these tools can do.   Run your cursor over the name of the tool and the tool's symbol will light up on our sample toolbar.
Zoomify Overview Map: If there is an overview map in the upper-left corner of the page, then you can use this map to quickly navigate around the city - there is no need to zoom all the way out and then back in somewhere else.   You should see a red box on the overview map that indicates which part of the city you have zoomed into - simply click and drag this box around to change the focal point of the detail map.
